I took this image while installing VHF radio repeaters above Lake Hoare in the Taylor Valley. This is the camp used by scientists performing long term environmental research (LTER Project). The camp is located up the valley from Lake Fryxell and about 50 miles across McMurdo Sound from our main facilities at McMurdo Station.
